Whilst we are absolutely thrilled by the success of the Diljit Dosanjh Dil-Luminati Tour it has come to our attention that fake tickets for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-lumanati Tour in India are being sold by unauthorized individuals and on fake websites. We are incredibly disheartened by these attempts to fraud genuine fans out of an opportunity to attend the tour.



At Zomato Live we always strive to be ‘fan first’ and seeing multiple websites and platforms that mimic ours, asking fans to part with their money for non-existent tickets goes against everything that we stand for. On our side we have taken legal action against these fraudulent websites and individuals and are actively working with the authorities to have them taken down.



Please note that Zomato Live is the official ticketing partner for Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-luminati Tour in India which is accessible only through Zomato app, or at <a href="https://www.zomato.com/live" rel="nofollow">https://www.zomato.com/live</a>, and the tickets issued are in physical form only. The tickets purchased from any other third-party direct selling or reselling platforms such as Viagogo, Ticombo, StubHub, and other unofficial sources will be considered invalid, and individuals holding these tickets will be denied entry to the event.



We will continue to push legal action against all mediums taking part in this type of activity. In addition we urge everyone to refrain from engaging or buying from third-party reselling platforms such as Viagogo, Ticombo, StubHub, and other unofficial individuals or social handles.

Fighting together against fraudulent ticketing websites and individuals

Every month, around 4 lakh perfectly good orders on their way to the customers are canceled on Zomato. It’s a serious challenge and we have been working on possible solutions to reduce this food wastage.



Introducing Food Rescue! Canceled orders will now pop up for nearby customers, who can grab them at an unbeatable price, in their original untampered packaging, and receive them in just minutes. 



How does Food Rescue work for customers?



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>The canceled order will pop up on the app for customers within a 3 km radius of the delivery partner carrying the order.</li>



<li>To ensure freshness, the option to claim will only be available for a few minutes.</li>



<li>The original customer and those in their immediate vicinity will not receive the option to claim the order.</li>



<li>The amount paid by the new customer will be shared with the original customer (if they made online payment), and with the restaurant partner. Zomato will not keep any proceeds (except the required government taxes).</li>



<li>Orders containing items sensitive to distances or temperature such as ice creams, shakes, smoothies, and certain perishable items, will not be eligible for Food Rescue.</li>



<li>Customers who prefer vegetarian food will not see non-veg orders.</li>
</ul>



How does it work for our restaurant partners?



We are heartened to see that 99.9% of our restaurant partners want to be a part of this initiative. Here’s how it will work for them:

<li>Restaurant partners will continue to receive compensation for the original canceled order, plus a portion of the amount paid by the new customer if the order is claimed.</li>



<li>Restaurant partners can see Food Rescue orders in Order history section on the Restaurant Partner app and in their Weekly Payout statement, in the &#8216;Order Level&#8217; tab</li>



<li>If, for any reason, restaurant partners don’t wish to participate, they can instantly opt out via their Restaurant partner app and dashboard.</li>
</ul>



How does it work for our delivery partners?



Delivery partners will be compensated fully for the entire trip, from the initial pickup to the final drop-off at the new customer’s location.

At Zomato, our endeavor is to make the food ordering experience seamless and hassle-free. While we strive to consistently have your food delivered as quickly as possible, we understand that sometimes, you may want to plan your order in advance. Whether it’s for a special occasion, a group lunch at the office, or your daily caffeine fix, planning when your food arrives just got easier.



We’re excited to introduce Order Scheduling &#8211; a feature that gives you full control over when your food is delivered. You can now schedule deliveries from 2 hours to 2 days in advance. This feature is now available at 35,000+ restaurants across 30 cities &#8211; Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Raipur, Ahmedabad, and others.

With Order Scheduling, you can plan your meals to arrive exactly when you need them. Here’s how:

Zomato Collaborates With IRCTC | Live across 111 cities

We understand &#8211; plans change! There are a lot of unknowns when booking a ticket so far in advance: What if I’m out of the country? What if my friends can’t go? What if I forgot about that wedding I had to attend? We want to make it as easy as possible to book a ticket to an event, as early as possible, without having to worry about anything else. This is precisely why we built our own ‘Book Now, Sell Anytime’ feature – a first of its kind by an Indian ticketing platform.



So how does it work?



<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li>Customers can buy tickets to their favorite event as soon as they go live on the Zomato app.</li>



<li>If their plans change for any reason, they can list their ticket on the Zomato app at their chosen price (capped at the organizer’s discretion)</li>



<li>Once another customer purchases this listed ticket, the seller’s ticket is canceled and a new ticket is issued to the customer purchasing this ticket &#8211; issued and authenticated by Zomato.</li>



<li>The seller will get the full value of their listed price transferred to their preferred payment method (subject to applicable taxes).</li>
</ol>



Our hope is that this feature is utilized for the right reasons by our genuine customers. We also want to ensure this does not promote ill practices in the events industry such as black market touting or unfair pricing. Therefore, we have put a few checks and balances in place:

<li>A customer can buy up to 10 tickets per category which can be listed for selling</li>



<li>We will be constantly monitoring the platform so that customers do not take advantage of this feature</li>

We hope this new feature empowers all our customers and removes any second-guessing about being able to book tickets in advance to events they love. The feature will go live on the Zomato app for the Zomato Feeding India Concert a couple of weeks before the event. This is another step towards building a truly customer-first platform and growing this industry in India.



We will continue to grow and evolve this initiative as we go along. This is surely not how this feature will look in a few months/years from now, so it is important for the industry to talk to us with the spirit of “we are all part of the same team”.
